As a wife, mother of two, and lifelong fitness advocate, I came to teaching yoga and fitness classes to find balance and strength amongst the chaos of a full-time corporate job while raising my two children and helping to care for my health-challenged mother. My long-time coach RYT-200, RYT-500, and c-IAYT, Wendy Cooper, encouraged me to complete the RYT-200 hour credential under the guidance of PranaYoga School at The Hub Indy which began my Yoga teacher path 4 years ago.

 

Over those years I have taught in the age ranges of 7-75 including all genders, races, people of differing backgrounds, athletes, weekend warriors, and those whose preference or ability leads them to be less mobile during their day. My passion is to meet people where they are whether beginner, intermediate or more advanced, encouraging each person to make progress every time they practice.

 

Just less than 2 years ago, I followed my desire to teach in the fitness realm in addition to yoga, which is where I discovered Spenga, THE BEST WERKOUT EVER! I have always had a love of moving my body and challenging myself to learn different movement patterns in order to stay healthy, vibrant, and active both physically and mentally. I truly love to teach this Spenga community!

 

When I am not teaching, I am busy raising two teenage kiddos and spending my time on the lacrosse field, at cross country and tracks meet, as well as listening to my daughter play the violin, in addition to managing my own wellness business, helping my husband in his real estate business, and caring for my health-challenged mother. It’s a crazy life, but I am blessed to live it! I find my sanity in walking my dog, listening to music, and building playlists for my classes.
